Private Health Insurance

Why we focus on you with or without private health funds

We bulk bill for Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) and various dental vouchers issued by public community clinics.

All health funds are accepted and processed on-the-spot via HICAPS rebate services for your convenience.

We are a part of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health fund, HCF’s “More for teeth” program. It is available to HCF members with selected extras cover, it offers 100% back on a range of diagnostic and preventative services – (subject to annual limits). More for Teeth also covers you for x-rays and mouthguards.

At MDC, we believe you have the right to choose health providers who you are most comfortable with and can provide you with the most suitable treatment available. Your choices shouldn’t be influenced by private health funds.

Preferred provider of major private health funds are contracted dentists who meet the fee criteria of the health funds. They are not chosen based on their standard of practice. This system can potentially put profits ahead of patients through over-servicing.
